Review of promotion materials

The first task we were given was to review five selected items that i thought were successful promotional materials. After carefully selecting and photographing 5 items, i thought to myself why have i chosen these items and what made them successful enough for me to choose them. Looking back at the photos i realised only a couple of them were brightly coloured and exciting whilst the others had grabbed my interest different with the detail and how well made the items were.

What i like about the pillowcases is how well the colours came out, the fact its rare you see such a skillfuley painted illustration using ink on a pillow case.

What look like book covers and bookmarks seem to have a nice finish to card and also well designed and use of colours.

The use of etches and cross hatching works well in this promotional material giving it detail.

The t-shirt logo and labels look professional and urban, the t-shirt with the design remind me of a t-shirt you would find at a convention.

This promotional pack in particular is interesting purely the fact its jewellery, accessories and cards, which in my opinion has more of a chance to become popular because of the craft and thought.
